After 14 years, almost to the day, my airline career came to an end today. Turned in my resignation and I'm officially a full-time desk jockey. It's a bit bitter sweet, but definitely no regrets. Looking forward to growing my business and no longer spending time on the road.

Well, congrats buddy... I know your circumstances sucked but it sounds like you have a decent enough fall-back plan that all will be well. I plan on spending the next 10 years working on my own fall-back plan. You just never know with this crazy industry.
