I have CPL, 267 hours TT. Ready for any job related to aviation and willing to work on weekends and holidays. Any location!
 
Try looking into being an observer with a pipeline partol company. You can build a good bit of time doing that. Not all patrol companies use observers, but some do..just a thought

They do. The season winds down in May so they probably won't really hire anyone until September-ish, although they occasionally do hire groups for summer work but that usually isn't as sure of a thing as the Fall/Winter work .

You WILL be on the road/on call 24/7 for about 7 months though. Although you get plenty of weather days where you can usually do whatever you want. Just not really a good job if you're wanting to come home every night for that 7 months. Tons of fun though.
 
I didn't want to go the CFI route either, but glad I did. The experience you gain and the things you learn about yourself are invaluable. Not to mention, many jobs that aren't CFI gigs still have a "CFI preferred " tag. Meaning that you'll most likely be picked after any CFI Canidate.

So I'll add my .02c and say go get your CFI.
