Best Airline to be a Pilot for?

(I'm told)

American, Braniff, Continental, Delta, Eastern, Frontier, Northwest, Ozark, Pacific Southwest, Republic, Southwest, Trans World, United, US Air, Western, etc etc, etc, et al, ad infinitum

At one time or another, every one of these carriers was a great place to work.

What do you think is the best airline to be a pilot for?

In all seriousness, PSA. I think i've said it before on here. San Diego base, 727s, they're getting L1011s soon. Home every night, unless youre on the SMF early departure, then spend the night out in Sacramento and be surfing Leucadia by noon. Oh yeah, the FAs.....

Great business plan, good work environment. I'd shoot for PSA.

Before anyone wastes anymore time on this........he's a junior in high school. Would have been better if he would have just introduced himself and been upfront about that.

Waste of time? With this information likely this thread was less of a waste and more helpful and provided better advice to this youngster than any of of us realized.

Sorry, young adult.

Here is to hoping he cracks open an old book about these airlines and the profession as it existed when they existed, or at least googles it.

Anyway, fun thread!
