Wait, what? Woooos-tes-SHIRE. No? That's how it's spelled, sort of. Damned liberal hippies.
I always picture Hobbits in the northeast, but I mostly get angry Italians. Hard to figure.
Angry Northeast Italian here...it's pronounced Wu-stah.
Couple other good ones are Amherst and Peabody. Funny to hear non-locals pronounce them.
Oh yah, let's go get some Pepperidge Fahms!Angry Northeast Italian here...it's pronounced Wu-stah.

There's a guy on here that runs this website, now I'm not sure, but I think he's a Delta pilot ................or something like that. I think he goes by the name Dough, Dougie, not sure.............so confused.......I'm currently a CFI with about 700TT and will be leaving for flight training for the ANG/USAF here shortly. When all is said and done, I'll be flying the F-16 out of Minnesota (pew pew) and I'd like to eventually make the transition to Delta once I'm done with my initial training.
I've looked at the pilot hiring mins and noticed that they have their baseline but the page also says that "When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to, among other things, quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine powered aircraft."
After my training, would I be eligible to submit a resume for Delta considering the military flight training? How does a major view the glorious single engine jet time? Anything is appreciated!!!
I'll help ya out.
