"They" being the flight school, not the FAA.
 
Action Multi Ratings in Groton CT. 3 Day course. Its cheap and quick. I showed up first thing on a Monday morning and was back at the Providence airport flying home with the wet ticket Wednesday by noon. I spent just under $3100 on the whole trip. Round trip airfare from NC, rental car, food, decent motel, the instruction, check ride and a beer or 2 on the way home in CLT. I recommend 100%. They have 2 Senecas as well in case of maint. issues
 
Did my stuff at Sheble. You can get it done in a short amount of time and on budget. I did not have any problems with them when I did my ratings
