Shebles are crooks. Never heard anything good bout them. Are u sure they operate anymore. I read articles there examiners had there licenses cancelled by FAA
With respect...if you can't pass a ride with a Fed onboard you shouldn't be taking the ride to begin with.To continue a check ride with an FAA ride along puts you and the DPE in jeopardy. Check rides are hard enough without putting yourself in more jeopardy.
Thanks for that, I think I may do it there since I can easily stay with family and have transportation.Inflight Pilot Training at FCM in Minneapolis. A REALLY nice C310 for a very reasonable price. Ask for Travis or Trevor.

I've done multiple rides including Check Airman rides and in-aircraft types and my ATP with a Fed. They aren't super human. If you're prepared, you'll pass. If your student can't take a ride with a Fed observing how will they do in the 135 or especially 121 world where a Fed can tag along whenever they like?

In a perfect world it should make absolutely no difference. But if you have a situation where there is an effort to "catch" a certain DPE then you (as a pilot) really do not want to be caught up in that dragnet.

Sheble had a BE18 on straight floats, a guy in Daytona has a Grumman, another guy in Florida has a Twinbee, there is also an Aircam in Florida on floats...
The examiner to use in Florida is Chuck or John Brown, of Brown's Seaplane.
They usually required a SES rating first though fyi
