Here is where I take issue...if somebody goes onto the forums saying he's flown an airplane that I have time in, and cannot even describe a vital safety system like boots are on a Caravan, then I will have issues with what they are saying. If somebody comes on here and says he personally knows people that were violated at a company, and he was pressured to do illegal and immoral things (I believe those were the words he used), and is not shouting for people to stay away, then I take umbrage with what he is saying.
The military thing is like comparing apples to nuclear missiles. What happens in a war zone, or the military in general, has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on a scumbag operation and them taking advantage of low time guys like yourself. I served 9 years in the Navy, and it has absolutely zero, zilch, nada, to do with my career. Ask the pointy nose guys on here...other than aerodynamics, there is nothing similar between their mission and civilian transport. Ask the heavy guys, their missions take them places where sometimes, you just need to get out of town. Other than Detroit and Oakland, that does not apply to us.
I've said it repeatedly in this thread to Hanah, don't send mixed signals. Do not even entertain the idea of going there. You've worked too hard to get where you are. Why throw your career away for a scumbag operator? Find another way. We were ALL low timers also. If you want this career, find a way without this company.
Best of luck in the job hunt!
