Ameriflight SA227 by Stiggy84, on Flickr
@tlewis95 departing BFI on his SA227 Type Ride.
I got my type in this same metro 5 1/2 years ago.
He wouldn't want to catch... the ginger. What he's saying @tlewis95 is WIPE EVERYTHING DOWN
Don't worry I already gave it to all ya'lls mothers. He wouldn't want to catch... the ginger.
I dont get it.Don't worry I already gave it to all ya'lls mothers.
I should add that all of these were taken with a lens that @JustinS let me borrow when we bumped into each other randomly at LAX In N Out last month. Thanks man, I've gotten a ton of use out of it.Here are a few from the many I edited of my late night ramp tour the other night, what an experience! I worked the ramp, but Airport ops took me all over the place, from the end of 28L standing where Asiana hit(rocks as high as my foot) to every part of the ramp. One hell of a night!
Pan American DC-3 N877MG at SFO by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
PAE based DC-3 in Pan Am colors was here as a former CNAC bird which was reunited with 2 100+ year old veterans who flew it over the hump in WWII. One had actually delivered the thing from Douglas!
Pan American DC-3 N877MG on the ramp at SFO. by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
Classic DC-3 shot. Never thought I'd shoot an active "Pan Am" DC-3 here!
Frontier Airlines A320 N223FR at SFO by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
New FAA Tower(which I should get a tour of soon!) with a Delta 737-900ER and Frontier A320 in the colors that went from new to old really quick.
US Airways tails at SFO T1 by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
Mesa always seems to end up back at SFO, this time doing LAX flights. N925FJ is sleeping over with 2 US Airways A321s.
American and US Airways planes overnighting at the SFO Superbay ramp. by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
American MX ramp by the Superbay hangar. Most of these US Airways and American jets are just spending the night to go out the next day. Glad to catch them mid-merger.
Kalitta Air 747-400BCF N742CK at SFO by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
Connie starting up for ICN operating for Asiana Cargo. Really hard to catch this one here!
Ameriflight Beech 1900C N21UC at SFO by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
Amflight B1900C, another hard one to photograph here.
Air Cargo Carriers Shorts 360 N124CA at SFO by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
Air Cargo Carrier Shorts, all they do is SFO-MHR-SFO. Not really a time building gig but I met guys doing it before and they liked it, one commuted to DFW on his 2 days off.
Ameriflight Metro III N473AF at SFO by ChasenSFO, on Flickr
I'll finish the set with this manly Metro basking in the amber lights, making it look yellow.
I could see myself enjoying Air Field Ops if I ever get in.![]()

Speedbird 49 by Stiggy84, on Flickr
After my flight out of Newark cancelled, I figured it was a fitting day to take a train ride across the river. The disappointment of seeing the "Closed to the Public Until 6:00 P.M." sign was quickly turned to satisfaction when the Security Guard yelled, "We've got flight crew!!!" and let us in with the family members and NYFD and NYPD crew. The uniform has its perks. It was truly an honor to be allowed in with such few.

May or may not be on the list of bins I've napped in.@JordanD probably did too. Did you find any bottles of man made lemonade in there? He has an infamously small bladder.
Old colleagues of mine flew this flyby at an airshow this past weekend... Not my photo...
