I've never toured, and see dispatcher in action. I was just wondering how I should go bout it and does anyone know regionals around NY/NJ area?. Thanks much appreciated!(does anyone know email addresses or phone numbers to call, because only area I know in NY is JetBlue)

You've made a good start right here. I'm sure there are some dispatchers on here that work in your area. Reach out to them and ask them if they would arrange a visit for you. If that doesn't work, find out the name of the dispatch office manager at your local carrier, and send a brief letter requesting a visit. I've been the recipient of such a request, and I was pleased to give a tour to fellow (future) professional. He eventually came to work for us.

Just remember to be polite, patient, and persistent.

You're asking the right question at the right place. I did the same thing before deciding to get my license, and got to tour a 121 Supplemental SOC - arranged by an awesome member here at JC. That airline ended up being my first gig after getting my license! I hope you are able to find an opportunity in your area. Good luck! :-)

Atlas Air in Purchase NY is one.

I may be able to hook you up with some folks at Atlas for a visit if interested. PM me if you like
