Lost an engine. People on the ground report seeing sparks and flames. Returned safely. Ill start by saying this;

Yeah...because Boeing's have never experienced engine failures (not to mention neither Boeing nor Airbus produce jet engines)....

OK. This has sunk to the level of which truck is better - Ford or Chevy. I am sorry I posted in it.

How about we just look at the fact that an airplane experienced something that was probably close to a V1 cut, and with outstanding engineering by those that developed the airplane (as well as all of the predecessors that led up to this one), as well as the training of the crew, the airplane landed safely.
