KCHS area

Last I heard there were a bunch sitting, but just the D/O flying. That was a few years ago, though. All things being equal, that was probably the best job I ever had (uh, wouldn't trade what I have now for it...but time and place, etc). I really hope they're staging another improbable comeback...they're good people.

Oh, and IMS, the guys in SC were the "original" Air 1st. Not sure how Intercontinental Jet (the guys in Tulsa's "other name") came to have the name. Some weird old school "small community" deal back in the mists of time, I expect.

When I was flying for Flight Express, my run was down to Opa Locka. On day 1, they told me to not park where the BankAir Lear did. I asked how I'd know where the BankAir Lear parked. They just smiled and said "you'll know".

So I pulled up on the cargo ramp and didn't park in the outline of spilled fuel in the shape of a Lear. I don't smoke, but I was afraid to even THINK about an open flame around that area.
