My First "Member Announcements" Post...

A big thank you to the JC community for existing and keeping us motivated, connected, and educated. I have learned a lot from everyone here. I've made some pretty good friends, through arguments, agreements, and drinks.

I would tag everyone that has helped me - but there are hundreds here to thank. Even if it's just because I read a post, or we met, etc.

I'm definitely not leaving, as this site continually educates me and provides great opportunities for others. I hope to be able to follow in the footsteps of those before me and pay it forward.

I'll do my best to see everyone and thank you personally at NJC '14. First round on me (up to a personally determined limit of folks! ;))

In closing, a really weird song:

You're joining the Blue Man Group?

Correct. This was my headshot for the audition:

Thank you guys. I am humbled by the amount of congrats shown on and off the forum for my announcement. I have had a pretty good career thus far. Bad bounces, sure, but everyone gets a bad bounce once in a while. I am very very happy with how things have gone in the macro sense. I certainly have learned a lot about aviation, myself, and others. I will continue learning.

:)

Congrats & much luck on the new path.

However, I'm curious on how one goes from your path into what appears a completely new realm? How did you get the skills to do this?
