Want to Buy Brain Bag

Well I have been in one facet of aviation or another since I was 16 years old, now I am 33. Never heard of a brain bag. I have heard of a brain bucket, in reference to a helmet, but that is all.

Sounds like we're working on the same timescale. Started flying at 16, 34 now. Still never heard of a 'brain bag', but I'm sure someone has!

I left school in the 7th grade and paid for mine with a combination of computer work, singing, playing music, and swordfighting. ^.^

After I got my private, though, I was out of money. :< So I can relate.

I had no family or friends who were in aviation, and the local airport wasn't as welcoming as many. Definitely nowhere to wash planes.

Sorry for the lack of reference. I'm in Indoc now and everyone refers to them as brain bags. They're the bags that you carry all the manuals, jepp plates, etc in.
