Curious why you are even bringing it up regardless of whether or not it was appropriate?

Obviously he wasn't worried enough about making sure his behavior and professional conduct (which is all one can really control unless you're a chief pilot - and maybe not even then) was squared away.

Sometimes I wish the airline crew environment was more like that of military workplaces. Specifically in regards to public displays of affection.

But, it's not. So - not inappropriate. However as much as I would like to say it is.

People who do think it's inappropriate to kiss your significant other in pubic whie in uniform must not have been loved as children. Over the top PDA is one thing, but a quick hello or goodbye kiss should never be a problem.
