Inappropriate?

When was the last time you got paid to preflight/post flight, program an FMS, etc. If you are in a company uniform, you represent the company.
I was paid to do that last night...

Agreed. I had kissed (my then) girlfriend at the pax drop off point in uniform before going to work. Sadly it wasn't as hot as I would have liked it to have been for everyone.
"This one time, upon arrival in San Diego, back in the Beagle days..."

Hug and kiss? No problem, especially if just on the cheek. Pilots are humans, not robots. Now holding hands walking around the terminal, making out etc is inappropriate in uniform.
Wait... So kissing my wife in the terminal is fine, but holding her hand is not.

Color me confused.

I hug my guy friends that I haven't seen in awhile, so I'm certainly okay with a quick hug and kiss, a clinch that a boxing ref wouldn't have time to break before it ended.

About a decade ago, a made a snarky comment about a pilot and his wife hugging and kissing pretty passionately at the airport. My buddy shared that they had recently lost a child. Unless it is really over the top, I'll reserve judgement.

People who would be offended by that were probably offended by 11 other things since they entered the terminal. If you want to go further than PG PDA, then step into a jetway, they usually don't have cameras and people who judge you for getting your face sat on in uniform.

I'm more offended by passenger attire on a daily basis than I ever have been by fellow pilots (yellow shirts, earbuds, backpacks and all).

Leave work at work and enjoy life. This isn't worth it.

I once saw a pilot use the public restroom in uniform and then eat lunch! Furthermore, I have good reason to believe he didn't wash his hands!

Completely inappropriate! I'm not even sure how this dookie head even became a PROFESSIONAL pilot. He freaking failed a 142 stage check while working on his commercial.

Seriously, you guys are too much. I take back all of the negative things I said about single pilot jet flying a couple days ago :)

I shall forever henceforth forbid myself from kissing my wife, my girlfriends, my boyfriends, as well as whatever cupping and groping occurs with said kissing in public.

Oh , you were in the military? You should mention it more often! :-p

That a problem?

It's called an individual perspective.

We each have one and it shapes the way we view the world. Much as I commented so in my post.

Hey, good luck on this position notice, btw.
