The Washington International Flight Academy is a 141 flight school located in Maryland.
We are looking for a qualified individual to join our growing 141 flight academy as Chief Instructor.
Duties are to include:
- Maintaining and updating current training course outlines (TCO)
- Writing new TCO's as needed
- Hiring and standardization of flight instructors
- Oversight of training curriculums, conduct stage checks and annual proficiency checks on staff instructors.
- Work directly with local FSDO
- Coordinate scheduled aircraft maintenance
- Certify and maintain student records in accordance with FAR 141
Compensation is negotiable.
Min Requirements: (FAR 141.35)
CFI / CFII / MEI
-At least 2,000 hours as pilot in command; and
-Flight training experience, acquired as either a certificated flight instructor or an instructor in a military pilot flight training program, or a combination thereof, consisting of at least—
(i) 3 years and a total of 1,000 flight hours; or
(ii) 1,500 flight hours
