I should have know better......

Where did I come off as disliking 117? I'm in the process of calling you out because you thought I was making some Delta reference. I don't work there, I just fly their customers. :)

Dude... he's trolling you (which I know you know). Besides if you really didn't know what a SDP was, he'd be a REALLY BAD ALPA member for not reading the manual they sent out or checking out their mobile phone software.

That sucks you got bounced to LA but it sounds like you are going to get a mini vacation out of it. If you get a few days off jump out to the island for a day or so. I can't offer you a couch to crash on regrettably, but would be happy to play tour guide. @Seggy could come out too, but I'm guessing he'll be too busy vacuuming and readying BoeingFanBoi.com that week.

It was my fault. I'll be back in the 313 come August. I'll have to take you up on that offer. Been two years since this Haole has made it out to the islands.

I guess I am a bad member, but the mobile phone app crashed the last few times I tried to use it...

Have you filled out a form describing your issues? Also make sure you are inputting all the times local. The app figures out UTC for you by your airport info. Hasn't crashed for me in weeks.

Yes, it wouldn't let me into it. Said it was 'updating the airports'.

That was part of the load several updates ago. It takes about five minutes from start to finish. Let it load everything then you can use freely. There is something like 12-14k airports it loads.

Why do YOU need it??? You fly to what, five airports that are 200 miles (at most) away?

;)

That's why I gave up. If I actually had to calculate rest times and timezones I might have stuck with it. Contractually we get 12 hour between pairings anyway so I'm pretty much covered for rest and by bidding min credit it and getting stuck with very low productivity trips it's almost impossible for me to get close to any flight time limitations.

As I call out others I need to fess up as I pulled a 'mini- @Derg' and 'mini- @amorris311' yesterday. Thankfully, I am still based in IAH, but I accidentally picked up the 'Holy Grail' of 'day trips'.......on the wrong day.......

I have plane side checked my bags a few times in the past and never had a problem. My question is how can plane side bags not make it on the plane???

Pushed back from DTW one day and happened to look up. The planeside bags were lowered in the elevator, but the rampers never put them on the plane. When I asked the pushback driver about it, there was a long pause and a "Uh.....hold on. We gotta pull you back to the gate."

I had that happen in LGA once. Supervisor said they weren't our bags. We argued about it for a few minutes and he insisted he was right so we went. Landed in DAY with no carry on bags. I was so angry I sent an email to both CPs, the DO, the VP of Flight Ops, the VP of Safety and the head of Express ops for Airways. The junior CP emailed me back.
