You always want me to explain myself to you, yet you don't bother to respond to me when I ask you a question.

Hmmmm. Didn't realize I made a habit of that. Its possible I missed some since I often just skim topics with an objectionable signal-to-noise ratio. I also tend to ignore rhetorical questions, and also post-tags that don't have specific questions associated with them. I suppose if your questions tend to fall in those categories that it may appear that I ignore you, but you may rest assured that it isn't personal.

Anyway, if there are any that you think I've dodged why not pick one or two and a I'll see if I can assuage your curiosity. You could even start a new thread rather than side track this one.

On second thought, since I'm laid up right now and have some spare time on my hands I'll start searching back through threads and see if I can give you feedback/answers where I did not before. Let me know if I miss something you consider important.

Well, it's dinner time here. I searched for all posts by you that contained "SteveC", and if I thought there were any unanswered questions I tried to address them in the original thread. They should have popped up in the New Posts area.

There were quite a few other exchanges between us, but none that included unanswered questions that I could find.

The flaw with my method is that if you asked me a direct question but didn't quote (or tag) me, I would have missed it. Let me know if you find any and I'll revisit it.

I only went back through December -figured 5 months ought to give a pretty solid basis to analyze if I, and I quote, "You always want me to explain myself to you, yet you don't bother to respond to me when I ask you a question." I think that there were 2 times I didn't directly respond in that period.

Sorry, but I'm not seeing the pattern.

Assuage?

Look who got word-a-day toilet paper.

So let me get this straight.

Choice of airplane/Location: Seneca, Middle of the Amazon
Seggie Verdict: Dangerous to aviation. Should not ever be attempted.

Choice of airplane/Location: Airbus, up a river through a busy city center
Seggie Verdict: Test pilots. Company Promo. No Problem.

Seggie Logic.

Huge differences.

The first (Seneca) video wreaked of 'hey watch this'! Which is probably the most dangerous thing one can say in aviation.

While this one was much more controlled. You didn't have these pilots scrambling to fix their goPros as the buildings Wizz by them.

How exactly is "watch this" not involved when blasting an airliner by an airshow crowd then up a city center at less than 1,000' AGL?

Of course I did. I read/saw every post you made in that thread.

This is your first post in the that thread:

http://forums.jetcareers.com/threads/low-pass-embraer-seneca.193118/

How does that post address/answer the two questions I just asked you in this thread?

Oh, my bad. I thought the video was on page one. Anyway. The first post after the video this was my comment...

Maybe I am a little slow and/or missing something, but why the low pass in a Seneca? Was there an air show going on???????

Bolded emphasis is mine. Huge difference between a couple of buddies doing some things such as fixing cameras at the far end of a runway to capture a fly by with another friend, going flying to goPro it, etc. than it is to have a camera fixed on an airplane during a fly by at an air show.

The 'hey watch this' wreaks through that Seneca video by the pilots. It doesn't so much with the Wizz Air one.

Yup. Huge difference: Alot fewer innocent bystanders for the Seneca to hit should something go wrong.

Interesting
My first thought is that was probably a similar view to what Sully had while on final to the Hudson, albiet he didn't have to deal with that annoying engine noise.
