The MEC is recommending the Tentative Agreement to the membership for ratification not only because it is the only viable alternative to a wind down of the airline that would have been accomplished within approximately one year, but also because it provides all of our pilots with a meaningful range of options that would not otherwise have been available.

Were you not already gone almost a year at that point? Why do you care so much about something you have absolutely no control over?

It doesn't appear that he cares.

It appears he is simply providing accurate information that contradicts a statement made by someone else.

Regardless of the medium or messenger, if the data presented recently is accurate - then that is all that matters. If the data helps reduce confusion from a previous statement, we all should embrace it.

But hey, let the riot continue. Don't let accurate dissemination of facts get in the way.
 
Has nothing to do with the accuracy of the letter. I just don't get why he holds on so much considering he was gone a year. We got a lot of information regarding the wind down. Colgan was told the q's were going to operate through December. A month later they were all parked. One letter doesn't mean anything.
 
You also were not his intended audience. So...why do you care so much?

Perhaps if all of you just stepped back and enjoyed a beer or water and some steak you guys could mellow out a touch.

I don't have access to that but I stand corrected if that's the actual language. All I have is negotiating guys talking about a four month windown schedule Delta showed us. I don't remember or I hit delete on it before I read it.

I wonder if what memory i have was before the NY judge slammed pinnacle, I know the negotiations went quick afterward and I probably lost touch because everyone was busy cranking away.

Since you were correct with your year, I would answer I still dont regret the yes vote, if it had been a 2-3 year wind down I might have felt better about voting no. But if it was a one year wind down Id be in a tough way trying to find something comparable with 2500 or so pilots all getting aggressive on job search in that economy.

I feel a lot better now, with everyone (minus staffing for the 81 900s) finding something good to go to next in the year. Winding us down now with the current park schedule (and accelerating) leave us a good chance for everyone needing out to get out.
 
Oh I know i know! Delta buys compass back from trans states! That way delta has control over the 900s and the 175s and they let all other contracts expire, merge endeavor and compass and order more e175s
