And who cares what they call it. As long as I'm getting paid they could paint my plane pink, cover it in glitter, and call it "the my little pony jet" and I'd still be there at duty in time on Thursday.

The first time I flew the pink 757... 610... was out of SNA. It was my leg, and the CA had said in the van that he would snag the walkaround. We made it to the gate, he saw the pink plane and went "aw hell no, you're doing the walkaround... I'm not being seen outside of the titty jet."

They are pretty confusing:

Little bus: "319"
Big bus: "330"
757/767: "76I"
E-190: "190"

Wait, how's that confusing?

*Edit*- Nevermind, I see now you said "USair". I was referencing US Airways. ;)

It was referring to the codes in catcrew when you do a position bid.
