Learjet 45 Profiles

Hi all!

Just got a gig flying a Learjet 45 and am wondering if anyone has any information on approach and maneuver profiles as well as any insight into the airplane (ie tips/advice). I've been pouring over the AFM, training manuals, limitations, EP's, and memory items but am hoping to let a leg up on anything else I can.

Just came across @chensler 's thread and grabbed the pre-course study guide that @SteveC posted and it's exactly what I was looking for to augment the AFM and other materials I have. Any other info would be more than welcome though!

I sent him a list if all the mistakes and wrong answers that certain LR45 pilots made during my 4 years as a check airman there.

Very. The seats are really uncomfortable.

Just saw this. The seats do suck. But it's more of a cushion issue than a room issue. The seats adjust vertically/fore-aft. The rudder pedals adjusted electrically fore and aft. I'm six foot and have plenty of room. I have my seat adjusted up a few inches and the rudder pedals almost all the way aft (towards me). The other guy I fly with is about 6' 4"ish. He has the rudder pedals all the way forward and can't quite fully straighten his legs. Either way after a few hours your ass cheek is begging for mercy. Still not as bad as the early Lears though.

Thanks for all of the info it really helped. I'm out on the road on a trip right now.
