Has it come to this?

Use the time to change the approach toward training.

Training is challenging, as well it should, and you really have to treat every event like your job depends on it, because it does.

If you get behind the ball of feeling sorry for yourself, you're absolutely doomed. If you're not leaving the simulator with the blood of your instructor, you're doing it wrong.

Didn't you at one point consider 121 "beneath" you?

Let's see you get a divorce and need some kind of schedule so you can still see your kids to see if your mind changes. I'd rather be on an eat crap diet than have my daughter grow up not knowing who her daddy is.

121 has never been "benieth" me. But the pay at yhe regional level sure sucks ass. That's not being a hypocrite. That's necessity.

So hostile. You need more days off in the month.

Quick question for all. What's wrong with Mesa? Serious question. They're supposed to be getting a brand new fleet of E-175's and someone here said their upgrade time is two years. From the outside looking in, sounds good to me. VS. going to super regional X with three hundred planes and a 5+ year upgrade time or a non-existent upgrade time.

@Trip7

AMMA RIGHT?

Don't ever ever ever listen to, or believe what upgrade times are. I was told in my interview I'd likely have a line out of training. I'm number 15 from the bottom of a list for a line of 60. Upgrade will probably never happen for me here.

Don't listen to recruiters? I absolutely agree. Do your own independent research, study the industry trends, projected aircraft growth, and one can make an analytical decision that can help them move up the food chain faster.

Compass quick upgrade is 100% guaranteed

NOTHING is guaranteed.

GLA...maybe if it was the only way to go 121 and the others didn't work out. I'm guessing GLA was recommended as a last resort(probably a sure thing) if Silver, Mesa, or Gojet didn't call back.

Gojet a la Mesa. If the Silver is set right, you can have your Key Lime for dessert.

Heck, no free coffee at SouthernJets either. The coffee in the training break room is on the "honor" system, the employee cafeteria charges as well does (and obviously) Starbucks on campus.

While I won't guarantee that, I do think that XJT is going to be The Incredible Shrinking Airline from now "going forward."

Heyyyy we already claimed that Trademark. Endeavor Air, The Incredible Shrinking Airline (TM).

Latest Management missive states that "only we" can prevent 200 draw down, by hiring. Trolololol!
