Food that doesn't need refrigeration???

I'm looking for healthy foods that one could take with them on trips that don't need refrigeration... Any ideas??? I already take cliff bars and such but I was looking for something with more sustenance.

I take beef jerky, peanut butter, nuts, protein bars, hummus, carrot and celery sticks, and wheat wraps with cold cuts. Freeze a bottle of water and throw that in your cooler- will keep things cold all day. Remember kids, you gotta keep your meat ice cold.

Apples, oranges, bananas, visit the produce section. If you want a hot meal on a layover that is somewhat healthy stop by any grocery stores deli. Pistachios make a great snack but can be a tad messy. I hear Rutabagas are pretty awesome. ;-)

Oatmeal, protein bars, trail mix, dried fruit, vacuum packed salmon (next to tuna in the grocery store). I also make quinoa or barley and mix with veggies for something decently healthy. (You can find a ton of recipes online.) I usually also make some type of baked goods to take on the road with me, oh and at least one package of popcorn.
