Malaysia Airlines 777 missing

CNN is reporting that it lost contact in Vietnam airspace.
Perhaps flight tracking software is not as good over there... but generally I've never seen it that far off...

we're talking 500NM or so from the last flight track.

Would I be wrong in thinking if it indeed has crashed that it had to have been something instantaneous (explosion) for there to be zero reports of a problem from the crew or the planes systems themselves?

Pretty sure Boeing already has a lot of data on what transpired.

It's listed as unofficial. Nanming doesn't appear to be anywhere near the flight path this flight has taken the last few days.

9:30am - (UNOFFICIAL) Flight MH370 has resurfaced and landed safely in Nanming, China. Early reports say that the aircraft had experienced a cockpit electronics malfunction.

As of this moment, the flight crew and all 239 passengers onboard are believed to be unharmed as some of the crew has already informed their families of their safety.

More updates to come.

My opinion of Piers Morgan has just dropped even lower, he wants to use this to further his own celebrity. "I'm the guy that got that guy to say _______". The airplane has landed somewhere, hopefully it was under control.
