PSA: It's "TOE" the line

"Your seatbelt should be worn low and tight acrossed your lap..."

...like nails on a chalkboard!

The one that bothers me is during the out of 10K announcement they say "please fasten your seat belt and remain seated for the duration of the flight." It should be "remainder" of the flight. Duration includes time that has already occurred at that point, but EVERY carrier says it that way.
 
There's been a marked increase in the incorrect usage of the phrase "toe the line" in several different threads. I do not "tow" the line. You do not "tow" the line. No one "tows" the line. Stop trying to "tow" the line! It wont work. It means nothing!

It's "toe" the line. T. O. E. Toe. We "toe" the line. You may now return to all your futile bickering. That is all.
