I'm just glad we don't have a mainline carrier influencing the process.
How do you know that? American clearly needs RAH to get their stuff together, now more than ever.

AAG is telling us they have a line of regional airlines waiting to do flying for them. That they aren't worried about RAH staffing because they can move that flying to Mesa who I guess is telling AAG they can take on all the flying AAG want s to give to them.

Friday. When are the real details of the TA going to be released?
Thank youFriday.
They going to start cold calling mainline pilots now? Mesa management may have eyes bigger than their stomach.AAG is telling us they have a line of regional airlines waiting to do flying for them. Not to judge the education level of managers and directors, but we have folks in crew support/manpower planning positions that lack a HS diploma, much less any MBAs running around actually solving problems.
I am not holding my breath.
I can't imagine what Friday is gonna be like. People on the 357 are already making a massive boredom whirlpool of despair.
The latest PDU made it sound like the local is going to "review" it before releasing it to the pilot group... I hope we get to see the official version on Friday.
Now that you've mentioned it, did everyone assume that "EBoard gets it on Friday" means we get it, also?
Apparently, this is one of my pet peeves. The union needs to do a road show to "spoon feed it to us" because pilots are "stupid." (coming from the mouth of a union rep)
To which I responded, "why should be have to be spoon fed? A good TA will speak for itself, I can read, I'm college educated and I know if I like it when I see its contents."
He had no response. But I hope they just release it, either way it will probably be leaked lol.
Every union does a roadshow for every jcba. We had one at 9E for the jcba and for the concessionary crap.
I know, its just that I feel like they shouldn't have to sell a TA, it should speak for itself.
Contracts are complicated documents. The idea that they should just be thrown out there without explanation is nuts.
Yeah I agree. Going to a roadshow doesn't just simplify the contract, but it gives reps a chance to answer any questions that pilots may have.
