Biden- laguardia like third world country

I don't think anyone who's met me has ever called me "sweet" before. You drinking tonight? :)

He doesn't mean "sweet", he means sweet. Like, ya know. Like, you know, "Tearfully tweet Miley Cyrus" sweet.

I love New York. I hope to have the money someday to be able to have a place there. But if I am that fortunate, I'll fly into JFK and take the LIRR into town rather than deal with that disgusting hole that is LaGarbage.

Are you serious? I'd rather fly into EWR and deal with the ridiculous cab fare and tolls (and everyone knows how much I hate Jersey) than go into JFK. Kennedy sucks. LGA is a far better airport to get in and out of (mind you I generally only fly on Delta or Airways). But hey, go through JFK, it leaves more seats for me. :)

The "new" Delta terminals are actually pretty nice and get better each week with the stuff they've been building. The central terminal, on the other hand, pretty much needs to be nuked from orbit.

Y'all crack me up. Go to Tyumen and you'll see bad. Go to Igarka during summer to see worse. Go to either in winter and it makes MSP look like the Caribbean.

SVO and Domodingding aren't that bad. There are much, much worse in Russia.

Oh for sure.

However, I was more interested in putting the fire out on butthurtedry over the comment that Biden made. Hate the guy, hate what he said, but at the end of the day, ain't nobody besides a pilot flying the visual, asks "Did someone say LGA? Oh yes!" apart from convenient access to downtown.

(Fresno? FresYES!)

It's been a couple of years since I've been to EWR. I didn't mind the terminal at all, but the traffic into Teterhole was always such a pain in the ass that I always got the 30 minute scenic tour of New Jersey on every approach into Newark. I hated going into there.

But you're in the third world.

We're talking the capital of the free world! We could at least benefit from a Jimmy John's in the terminal.

Yep!

That's why user fees for corporate types are so necessary for a healthy aviation system in this country!

And going in and out of TEB is hell due to the airlines oversaturating the airspace. Once again, agree to disagree on this crap.

I like Miami.

LaGuardia could sure use a facelift.

DFW is getting a massive renovation and I gotta say it's pretty slick.

The parking garages have vehicle sensing parking spaces. A little light hangs from the ceiling above each space- red is occupied, green is vacant. Very nice touch.

Toll booths are all going automated. Much faster
.

Used those once at the Motor City Casino in Detroit.

It's awesome nuff said

Once again I'm too slow on the keyboard and get beat (twice!).

You guys telling me you don't like being #20 for departure and having to go at 1500ft and 200 kits for 30+ miles after finally getting in the air? :)

Well, if the corporate types paid their fair share in the form of user fees a NEXTGEN system could be implemented for better ATC services so they didn't need to fly low and slow :).
