A year in the life at SFO(warning lots of pics).

Nice shots. The close parallels there make for some awesome shooting opportunities.

Maybe a quick edit to your text though. Remember UA buddy passes have no value and receiving something of value for said pass is in violation of their policy. I watched a guy get burned on that a while ago.

He already got burned by them...

I actually thought about that as I typed it, but I no longer work for Skywest, and even if I end up flying there, UA no longer provides buddy passes to Skywest. You get an extra enrolled friend instead.

Sweet shots man! Glad the 75-300 is working out for you. You really need to get that 70-300 lens fixed, I remember when you borrowed mine the quality of the shots were insane with the 7D.

Optical illusion or tail strike?

Optical illusion.
Awfully close. Looks like one wheel still on the
Illusion, just like this one:

...barely.;)
The Air France is pretty clear to me. Wheels up. Space visible between tail and runway. But that SW shot... the lighting/lack of shadows and position of the wheels and tail relative to the skid marks makes it really hard to see that the plane is slightly aloft and not dragging. At least for my old eyes.

The WN plane that looks like it's tailstriking is off of 1L and against 1R in the pic. The further airplane, the -300, is actually off that runway. You can see 1L at the bottom of the pic.

lol "self portrait." Awesome shots dude. :)
Thanks dude, I still didn't edit the shots I took at DVO with you and Susan haha, they came out really good.
