Any Bitcoin investors here?

BTC now over $1,000 on Mt. Gox. Even Litecoins are at $26. Just a few weeks ago they were less than $1! Crazy. When will the bubble pop??

So my understanding is this is/was supposed to be a currency for use online. How on earth do you use a currency so volatile? I mean if I was a merchant I could set a price for say an xbox one at .50 bitcoins, but 30 minutes later, the USD equivalent might be 5 bitcoins. So... if the currency has no purpose outside trading it for tradings sake... does it remotely have a future?

Saw a big dip earlier today but has since recovered.

Don't waste your time tagging me.

Wasn't a waste of energy for me, per se. My inclusion of you was simply an example of someone who read a post on another thread and actually provided information of "value" or "substance" to the conversation. This was simply my way of acknowledging your input.

As an example for others to emulate perhaps? Lead by example? Cut and paste your action for others to follow? I see no downside.

I'm invested in ETH to a small degree. I certainly don't think that Crypto (and the Blockchain in the larger context) is, you know, magic beans or whatever. It's not clear to me how it will play out, but I suspect that there is a future to to it. I don't even know what I said back then. More to the point, though, all of this ALL CAPS and BOLD perhaps doesn't make your communications sound more hinged...
