I skipped school when they debuted that scheme (I was in 11th grade I think). There were 3-4 reporters at the airport, and I asked to go with them down to gate area but they wouldn't let me. Thankfully, I discovered women and my dorkiness towards aircraft has subsided. Who am I trying to fool, no it hasn't.
They were still in bankruptcy at the time, then were bought by Air Canada shortly after. Sadly that livery didn't see much activity.

That's the best part of being an FO. Normally I try to help out and get stuff done. But if the captain is a dingleberry, "I'll be in the back taking a nap. Lemme know when you get this sorted out."

Actually our RNP is certified to a lower RNP than AS, believe it or not.

Yeah it's a Dash 8 Q200 series. The company figured it was cheaper to leave them in so we still use them, and they are required during the checkrides, or at least the initial I believe. It's fun to use but I've only been in a couple of situations where I could have used CAT II or III minimums. Therefore they don't pay for the extra training required for the HUD.
