US/AA Reach Settlement with DOJ

The details are

52 slots at DC 8 of which Jetblue already uses so it's 44 reduction from current levels.

17 slots at lga, 5 of which swa already uses so a 12 reduction from current levels.

2 gates at bos, mia, ord, lax and dal. Basically half of the usair gates at these airports except for bos.

Also, anyone know what percentage AA/US will have at DCA now? If US has 55% now, and combined would have been 68%... what is the combined percentage after giving up 52 slots?

they are going from 250 flights to 255 flights. Some of those slots they have to "give up" were already being used by other airlines.

Are there any furloughed AA or TWA guys at eagle? That might change it but they should be in front of every eagle guy who has never been at AA.

The 800 guys don't have numbers. They will be placed doh with everyone else hired after either the announce date (feb 8th 2013) or the por date (sometime in dec).

While I agree with u and I think it will happen - why didn't they come out and say everyone after Feb 8 is DOH? I think united and continental formally announced it with their merger. @Seggy might know

The 824 guys and the on property before Oct 2011 both have merger protection I think. The thing that stinks is that Parker has all ready expressed he thinks eagle is still to expensive even though we have our bankruptcy contract with Horton.

But y'all were offered another deal to get in line with what Parker thinks is priced right, correct?

Merger protection for who? Are they gonna try to merge eagle with PSA?
