SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A small fire aboard a Delta Air Lines plane headed to Atlanta has forced it to return to Hancock International Airport in Syracuse.
The Post-Standard in Syracuse reports (bit.ly/1cRl5m5) that just after Delta Flight 1841 took off from Syracuse around 6 p.m. Monday a small fire ignited near a coffeemaker. Syracuse Aviation Commissioner Christina Callahan says the fire was quickly extinguished and the plane returned safely to Syracuse.
