New PSA TA?

I heard rumor in the halls of CLT worse case they would relaunch Allegany with -900, but only after offering Piedmont combined with PSA. image-3739734378.jpg

And what with all the Gremans last week in the sims?

The Allegheny certificate was surrendered long ago. The DCAir certificate may still be floating around though.

PDT will only be merged after the PSA pilots lay waste to the company. PDT folks would never swallow that turd and they know it.

The chances of a PDT/PSA merger are extremely remote and I think that if USAir Group had it's way they would get rid of BOTH companies. Makes more sense to have a stable of lower cost carriers competing for the contracts to fly airplanes owned by USAir Group. Absolutely, NO logic in re-fleeting PDT from a business point-of-view. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked to see PDT go the way of CC Air...Buy the slots, get rid of the fixed assets, leases and if any employees want to work there...OK, but at a much lower wage. It's business...and they are in the business of making money and reducing cost...not rocket science. Problem is that pilots covet their careers about as much as anything else precious in their lives. BIG MISTAKE! Anyway, I should have listened and "Get the • out".

Enjoy the new jets PSA, and those interviews. Eventually. Nice job locking yourself into serfdom until mainline calls your number.

Folks realize they can be hired without weak baby flow through agreements right?

NO. THERE ARE NO JOBS OUTSIDE FLOW-THRUS.

:sarcasm: obviously

Yeah who the heck is negotiating for XJT/ASA? What took them so long to get a contract that the benchmark lowered?

I blame XJT/ASA guys for not standing up and getting a contract done when they should have.

Thanks for not raising the bar, bottom feeders.

Slight :sarcasm: but XJT/ASA folks can't really complain about the situation that they allowed themselves to be put in.

All for PBS... Lol!

Pretty much... And we're getting PBS anyway... Nice job, huh?

Im guessing it passed?

From STW

"Balloting for the Letters of Agreement 3 & 4 and the Letter of Commitment has concluded. With 85.99% of eligible pilots voting, 61% (244 pilots) voted in favor and 39% (153 pilots) voted against. The tentative agreement was ratified by the majority of the pilot group."

Two thoughts.
Sad that 14.01% didn't care enough to take the time to vote.
Not surprising in a country where 60% is considered high voter turnout.

The real tragedy here is that we have pilots voting in concessions when their parent company is prospering.

... I'm not sure, but I think that's a first, and a horrible precedent to set.

... Am I correct that this is still contingent on the AA/USAir merger? There's another reason to hope that doesn't go through.

And it's time to recall Moak.
