Haha. I just bought the plane, bought the shirt and epalauts off Sportys and boom! Why did I not think of this before?!
Actually, I know the Captain very well. Nicest guy in the world, a retired Delta L-1011 captain and has been flying this for 13 years. I have been kinda pestering him for years about getting some stick time in it. He finally asked if could be a relief pilot for this trip. Of course relief pilot meant I got to sit in the seat for the entire 15 hours of this flight and do ALL the work, which I wasn't complaining. He still needs to do 2 landings for my SIC type. I am feeling pretty optimistic about doing a lot more flying. I worked my ass off and picked up on it real fast. They do mostly international flying (Saudi Arabia). Crossing my fingers.

Won't make it non stop from ADS without the belly tank. I'm not even sure it could with a belly tank.

A funny story. I was doing all the cockpit checks on the final leg in KSNS and some random dude came in the cockpit, intuduced himself, asked a few questions. I wasn't paying too much attention to him because I was real concentrated on not effin anything up. Turns out it was Sean Tucker who, I guess, is kinda a big deal in the aerobatic circuit.

The captain of that plane gave my students and me a wonderful walk through of that airplane about 6 years ago in KTUS. A genuine guy and someone who thoroughly enjoyed his job. If I remember correctly he still sports the hat with the delta logo.

It must be. I used to see it parked in that hangar all the time.
I also saw it when Jake "the bachelor" was trying to pretend he wasn't a FO on a RJ.

He is very nice and will talk to anyone for hours about aviation. He has been talking about retiring for years but after professional flying for 50 years its hard to let go.

A few years back, "the bachelor" was a pilot, and all the girls were very impressed to be dating a glamorous aviator! In the first episode, they showed him preflighting and siting in the cockpit of that 737 in his handsome Captain's uniform.
What the show never mentioned was that he was really an FO at Republic(?) and flew an RJ.
