Well I have heard the RJ thing spoken about in a serious manor from management. So to hear it again was not a shock to me.

Although maybe smoke was being blown up my you know what...
Well, there will be a lot of -200s in the desert in the not too distant future. Don't know how well it could compete with the ATRs though, and that thing would be a pain to load as well.

In any event, I believe UPS scope is at 60,000 pounds, true?

There's a few of us ex-AMFers that went over to the "dark side" (121). When I fly with a new Captain I can usually tell within 5 min into the flight if he/she ever flew freight.

I think you have to drop a zero. The Bro is pretty much the biggest they can use without UPS pilots flying the aircraft.

What I love about freight is that mgmt themselves make up and spread the crazy rumors.
"Flow to Delta!! It is coming! I shouldn't even be telling you guys this"

Yeah. I seriously had management mention this to me. lol

I'm not sure what it is. But after two Bros and a 99 to I think Lubbock. UPS dropped a 757 into there and that was it for AMF. Last I heard one Bro has been sold who knows on the other.
Which by the way after years of blowing out a 1900. UPS finally figured out 7500lbs doesn't fit in it. I'm on my last week of crap hole Winnemucca starting Monday. It'll be split with a 99.

I blame @Jtrain for that. He started that fine rumor when he was a punk training captain at AMF. I like to keep it going for old times sake.

But for sure on the ATR or Dash plane. I even saw the pre ops specs on it.

Lubbock is it's own mini base now and even more irritating.

Oh and if what might happen in BQN happens, we're so screwed if they dumped any of the 120s. Unless there are some for sale in airworthy condition somewhere

It's a 13K payload limit domestically. With the following, rather dated, exception:

The Company may utilize up to ten (10) Convairs (maximum payload of
15,800 lbs.) in its domestic feeder system. However, no more than one (1)
Convair may be operated on the same route within a service system. In
addition, no combination of domestic feeder aircraft on a route shall be
allowed to equal or exceed the payload capacity of a B-727-100.

Anybody flying Convairs anymore? and I think all the UPS 727's are beer cans now...
