All hail the TPE! Best power to fuel consumption tprop. I've also noticed, even if I bury the the pratt in reverse until we come to a stop(not recommended) it still doesn't produce a fraction of the reverse the garret does. Even in full reverse we're not even close to 100%, and not producing any real power.
Also, what kind of pile of crap needs inertial separators? If your engine can't eat FOD for an hour and ask for more... well it's a POS.

I think my next change to fly Garrets is going to be the TFE though.

Well aware that Caravan time isnt "real" turbine time. Oh well. The Navajo (another one of my current airframes) is way harder to stay ahead of. Also faster. And more fun. But not as comfortable.

I remember the first time I had to unplug a GPU from an MU-2. I was practically scared to be behind that screaming tornado. After a while I loved it though, on a cold winter night freezing my nuggets on the ramp, I looked forward to standing behind the #1 to keep warm so the check haulers could deliver another pot of gold to the funny money foundation. :D

Aahahahha. That's pretty great. I remember a couple of times things were getting a bit bouncy and unpleasant and it sort of dawned on me..."I'm doing this...for...THE FEDERAL RESERVE!" I guess I really like flying or something. What a prostitute!
