Living the Dream (well at least trying to)
I have an Express Jet interview. They are my first choice Regional so I am hoping to do well. What is the best way to prep for this interview to ensure best success?

Look at Compass, Delta, and XJT stuff for questions you may find on the Delta Knowledge Test. They share the same question bank at each carrier.

I used Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot to get a good review and learn new stuff. Aerodynamics for the Naval Aviator (free on FAA website) is also good along with your typical FAA books. The Turbine Pilots Flight Manual I'd also a good resource. Lots of turbofan related questions on the test.

Check out what these cats said, but if you meet the minimums and are trainable, then it should be a non event.

Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators downloaded. And Turbine Pilots Flight Manual purchased. Thanks ya'll. will probably purchase Every Explained as well. That just looks like a good read.

If you're an iPad owner Everything Explained is available as an app if you prefer. Definitely easier to carry around.

Doh! I have a copy I'm trying to sell listed on the trading forum here!

Passed the ATP Written today with Sheppard Air. Got a 95. Problem is, I learned very little. Did rote memotization for 3 days straight.

So final question. What is the best ATP Test Prep I can get on my iPad that will show explanations so I can understand the material to pass an airline interview and justify my answers?

Thanks ya'll.

Everything Explained is great, also all of the FAA pubs, Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, Instrument Procedures Manual, etc are available for free as PDF from the FAA site.

Edit: just saw you were mentioning Apps. Search for 'Dauntless' in the App Store. While I haven't used their ipad app their windows product was great. Much more explanations than the Sheppard Air gave me and different ways to break down the test and score yourself.

Don't be a feminine hygiene product. :)

No, seriously. Beyond a certain level of tech knowledge, we want to make sure that we can spend long hours locked in a small room for four days with you - without wanting to kill you, of course.
