Phenom 100 PIC for Executive Airshare :)

After 7 years of flying bags, boxes, rats, urine, blood, Detroit diesel engines, radioactive salts, auto parts, and a 4,000 pound offshore rig drill bit, my hard work has paid off. It took18 months of applying/updating and I finally got a call to interview last week.

The interview was absolutely perfect. I had one week to prepare. The first thing I did was go to Men's Wearhouse and get some new duds. My old suit was just that, OLD! I had to look fresh. I also reviewed the AIM and ATP written several hours a day. I wrote down every single possible interview question I could think of and formulated my own genuine answers. After the initial phone interview, a friend put me in touch with his former co-pilot from Flex Jet who is currently flying for EAS. After chatting with him for over an hour I had no doubt this would be the right move for me. Having done all this, my confidence was at an all time high. During the interview I simply could not stop smiling because I was so excited to have the opportunity to interview. I was up against some very stiff competition. The other 3 candidates were all currently flying turbine equipment with comparable total times.

I just cant describe how pumped up I am! :fury:

I'm going from a 1950's Twin Commander to my first jet. In 3700 hours of flying I've never touched a jet, an autopilot, or flown this fancy stuff called glass. I'm ready for the new challenges though!

Straight in to the left seat huh? Bravo! The automation is easy, just study up and you'll kill it. Congratulations, fellow freight-hound!

Thanks old dog!

I thought they had called the wrong person when they mentioned interviews were for PIC positions. It's a big step but I love the challenge and being given a chance.
