Thursday afternoon I passed my CASA SIC ride after a 13 hour day. Time to start logging some TSIC time. I am absolutely loving this job so far. It is a LOT of physical work, along with a different type of flying. Today I got to do my first real world hold at an IAF while we waited for four planes ahead of us to depart, or arrive. Breaking out of the clouds to see an entirely white landscape can be disorienting the first time for sure. Right now I am flying out of Nome, and it is gorgeous up here. When I get home I will post some pictures. But for now I have a map showing where I have been on my first two days on the line. The Gambell and Savoonga run was pretty cool. A lot of water out there to cross.
