American Eagle: 196 50 or less seatersGood contracts are great when your flying the line, but a good contract cant save you when your sitting on reserve making min guarantee..... They only fly aircraft that all the majors are trying to cut and have no new flying in sight. Its not a bad company, but there are plenty of other options that are not going to shrink.
SkyWest: 159 50 seaters
ExpressJet: 355 50 seaters
Republic: 55 50 seaters
Pinnacle: 140 50 seaters
PSA: 35 50 seaters
AWAC: 71 50 seaters
Sure all AWAC has is 50 seaters. It's certainly a concern, the 2015 thing. But most companies have a large amount of 50 seaters, multiply by 10 the # and that is about how many pilots will staff it. As a new hire you're going to be at the bottom of the list for quite a while (furlough fodder).
AWAC's contract is strong in many areas outside pay. Scheduling, benefits, etc. I'm first to admit the reserve language is bad by comparison, but overall still good. Very rarely have I thought I was not getting paid fairly.
