VFR 135 So Cal job wanted

Currently flight instructing and would like to supplemen income/hours with a VFR 135 job. Based out of San Diego but will travel as necessary.

120 Multi
275 dual given
170 PIC x/c

MEI/CFI-I
FCC Radio operator
1st Class medical

Channel Islands over in CMA might be VFR. There's the stuff up near the Grand Canyon, and over in Moab. That's all the SW 135 VFR I know of.
You'd probably have more luck finding a DZ with a 182 in San Diego.

Not likely you would be insurable in a 'van with that time unfortunately.

Channel Islands over in CMA might be VFR. There's the stuff up near the Grand Canyon, and over in Moab. That's all the SW 135 VFR I know of.

What are the conditions at this companies? at some point I wanna move back to the States, 90% of my TT is single engine VFR 135, I dunno if I`m ready for the AK climate and I don`t wanna go back to CFI as I will have to take out the $ to get current and a II..

My gf lives in FL now, there are a ton of 135 jobs there, but they all want IFR 135 times as most island flying is in Multi that do file IFR when it`s required, I`m nowhere close with my night time to act PIC.

They do indeed conduct VFR operations in the Islander, but they'll at least want you to be IFR qualified.
