What is the "Impact" of Car Crashes on being hired?

Well, I was rear-ended a few hours ago by a teenage girl who apparently should've been more mindful in busy rush-hour traffic. Thankfully no one was hurt. This is the second time that this has happened to me. It definitely wasn't my fault given that I was stopped and waiting to turn at a red light, but I'm wondering how airline HR staffers and corporate flight departments will look at incidents like these when they check my driving history....

A couple of accidents on your record won't be an issue, especially if they weren't your fault. They probably won't even show up if you weren't cited for anything. Airlines look for things like speeding tickets and reckless driving that shows a lack of respect for laws and authority.

"Oh no, he's human! We cant hire him! "

Are you serious dude? Unless you were at fault whats the big deal? I take it this is your first accident.

I tell this to people who have trouble giving a presentation in front of others...you need to stop giving a f***.

Why worry about things you cant control?

I had about 5 tickets when I got hired by my airline... just come clean.

Be honest, do not lie, answer when and if asked and don't worry about it.

Crash less, too. :)

I have a lot more than a fender bender on my record, and I still can get hired... Plus, if you call the NDR, I'm willing to bet the state didn't even report it... Even though I admit my tickets and suspension, my NDR is spotless...

My poor little Scion has been rebuilt 3 times from idiots hitting me. Oh the stories from those would take a few pages.
