I'd say that such disasters are extremely common in DHS for certain, but I refuse to call the good parts of the government a disaster, mess, and shambles. Like the air traffic organization, and (gasp) Flight Standards.

Anyone with more than two neurons rattling around upstairs knows that passenger screening as implemented is a sham, and doesn't make you any safer or secure than the public was on 9/10/2001.
