Just happened... I'll post a link once it goes on the local news website. First reports say 7 onboard 1 fatal. I think its in Mcduffie county, Ga. Flight came from Nashville.

THOMSON, Ga. (AP) - Sheriff's officials in McDuffie County say a small jet has crashed outside of Thomson - about 30 miles west of Augusta.
Federal Aviation Administration Spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says the jet - a Hawker Beechcraft 390/Premier I - crashed around 8:30 Wednesday night after landing at the Thomson-McDuffie County Airport. Bergen says preliminary reports indicate the jet ran off the end of the runway after it landed.
Bergen says preliminary information indicates seven people were aboard the plane, and sheriff's officials Wednesday night said there was at least one fatality. Bergen says the plan departed from John Tune Airport in Nashville, Tenn., and was destined for Thomson-McDuffie Airport.
The cause of the accident is unclear and Bergen says the plane is registered to a company based in Wilmington, Del.
 
Looks like it was N777VG...just got the text myself about it...praying that there are no additional fatalities :(

True. Sometimes when you worry about someone, those rational thoughts don't make it through to the right part of the brain. RIP to those lost. :(
 
Seven people on a Premiere is just about a full house. IMS, that's about a 5500ft strip...don't know anything about the Premiere's field performance numbers, but if it was wet with no reversers, that might have been a pretty tight squeeze, too. Anyhow, sucks.
 
There's a notam for HQU that says the RWY10 PAPI is OTS.....The approach plate for that runway says Straight in/circling NA at night when VGSI is inop and right off the end of the runway is a tower at 613'msl. I'm assuming this is the one they hit.....
