a few things:
1. I like it. Theres so much hate, anger, distrust, you name it, associated with the old AA. This new scheme gives them a chance to shed those words as the "new" era of employees come onboard and retirements take place.
2. At first, I signed onto our pilot forums, and as I predicted, they all mocked the new design. My first thoughts were, if you're so good at it, why don't you try to rebrand an airline thats been around forever. These guys sit behind their computer screens, on their lazy butts, with no innovative thought, never taken one risk in their lives, complaining all day long about anything and everything they can think of. This just adds one more to it. They think they know how to run a business or let alone an airline because they can fly an ILS.
3. AA needed a change. They needed to get rid of that old image and introduce an image of the future. I think they did a great job, and I admire their efforts and courage to try. I specifically like the big AMERICAN letters written across the fuselage.
