2012: How much did you fly?

I feel so unworthy reading this thread. Then I remember that I dont actually fly for a living, but it doesn't help much, lol.

Not really sure, somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 hours. Much better than the almost 600 I did last year and the 300-400 I've done 8 or 9 years prior to that. Well on my way to reaching my goal of retiring with less than 10,000 hours.

336hrs and 180,000ish miles. Pretty much hit every state south and west of new york.

You may just be the winner. 11 RONs, nice low flight time. Well done!

Not by design, I'm only contracting, getting around 4 days a month lately. As you can see by the map the legs aren't all that long, most of the trips are out and back. Hopefully a little more work next year!

That's brutal. I applaud your love of flying, I know mine is not that strong! Still, I envy your annual flight hours.......haven't checked my logbook, but I'm guessing it is half that, if even that much this year.

Are those specific fields that have airship support?

We can land at any airport that has sufficient room for us to operate (remember, we generally don't take off or land on runways). More importantly, we use certain airports because airport management is supportive of having airships and our associated support equipment and vehicles operating there.

Some airports we avoid because airport management doesn't want to deal with the hassle of airship operations.
