You have not been many places then. Try BHM for 1 hour... walk outside the airport and attempt not to get shot. Midland Texas? Sierra Blanca, NM(SRR)?

After 4 years of mapping, believe me, I've been almost everywhere. However, the number one spot on my list of least favorite places is one you listed...Midland/Odessa, TX. Yuck!

I did MAF and MLI in the same trip. I most definitely prefer MLI even if the layover there was amongst my least favorite I've done thus far.

What? I saw a really cool air show there back in 2006!!

Actually, I was living in another crappy town in Texas at the same time, yuck!

I think we've let The Other Airline have that one. And we stayed out by the airport in the dingiest La Quinta ever when I flew there with BrandX, so other than the Denny's across the bridge, there's not much to do.

The hotel is probably what really made the trip awful. Between the van driver, the 80's porn style rooms and the most god-awful restaurant, it was an unforgettable experience. I am sooooo thankful we were only passing thru and all we had to be there for was one night. The hotels website makes it look way better than what it was. Stay away, far away

Reminds me of the current London hotel I am in right now.

Decorated like a dollhouse and I'm waiting for Paddington The Bear to walk in with a spot of tea.

Thank you hotel committee. You make my dues dollars worth it. If you keep sending domestic guys to international cities to do inspections I will poop in your v-file. It's a hotel inspection and not "OMG! I get to go to Europe?! For free? COOL! Hotel smotel, I'm packing!"
