Tattoos

Do this in support of your favorite political party

As somebody said earlier, in MANY professions, visible tattoos will bar you from employment. If you do get one, make sure it's completely obscured by a short sleeve shirt. Make sure it isn't too bright either. If you can see it through a regular white shirt, that isn't gonna work.

I have a body suit (80% covered). I wear long sleeves at all times and no one knows the difference. Its not as a big a deal as you might think it would be. It is something I've wanted since I was a little kid (always fascinated by them) and I've always known I'd have to keep them covered. No hands and no neck/face. Only idiots get that stuff done or guys who make a living off of making tattoos.

Bullet point list of wives. 1st one is filled in, and blanks for three more. Keeps her on her toes.

No, I've been wanting one pretty badly for a few years now..... A little background, my mom can be pretty uptight but is a CA for AA and has said literally since birth that if I got a tattoo anywhere "good luck getting hired at an airline". The more I get older, the more I see that's probably just her wanting to protect her son from stupidity haha. I'm looking at getting one that's like 2.5"H X 4"L just above the knee

In all honesty, i'm looking at doing this:

JUST KIDDING for obvious reasons.

He forgot to not do that one day.

If you want to get tattoos, know your boundaries. Its that simple. I love mine but would never encourage anyone to get one. Especially when it comes to working in an industry that supplies their employees with 75% polyester, long sleeve shirts.

you would get murdered in prison for having those lol
Considering I worked as a corrections officer for eight years, you have no idea how right you are.

I've seen tattoos of all shapes, sizes, and places. There's probably not a part of the body I haven't seen a tattoo, use your imaginations. :)

This.

Certain things just gonna' droop with age - and not only on women. I've never personally met someone older than I who regretted the full expression of their life's principles and important ideals inked on a body-part - however much it may have stretched. That person certainly exists out there. I just haven't met them yet. Rather, I've seen pride in the life which was reflected by the tattoo and heard some beautiful, touching memories which lived before me in the telling of the tales represented.

Ink or don't ink. Use your common sense. But don't let anyone else decide the issue for you. Nothing more than pride in who you are and a reflection of your life in ways which are meaningful to you. Not a thing wrong with that at all.

I just saw a news report on this dude. He says he was paid $15,000 to do it and is now using a lot of that cash to get it removed.
I would have just done it in marker and washed it off once the election was over. Why would you permanently put anything political on your face (for any amount of money)?

If they are asking you to remove clothing during your interview, you uhhhh, might have other problems.

She may have a point. AA and Eagle (not sure if either still do it) definitely used to require clothing removal during their interview. If they actually had something against folks with *any* tattoos, they certainly would have had the opportunity to weed them out during the interview process.

I am not lawyer, but I didn't know they could legally do stuff like that. Interesting to know.
