Just left the Republic Headquarters in Indianapolis today for my interview and it was very straight forward. Anyone that has an interview coming up, just study the gouge from Shuttle America on APC, or www.aviationinterviews.com. There is absolutely no gimmicks. Started with a 30 minute presentation on the company history, plans for growth, benefits, etc. Then headed back to the break room to collect drug and alcohol paperwork with PRIA stuff. Next we took the 20 question ATP test, followed by the Wonderlic. That is NOTHING to stress over, it was actually quite fun in a weird way.
After this they began interviews. Mine consisted of basic HR questions, then the technical portion was reading a METAR and TAF. Briefed an approach plate, talked about CRM, and that was pretty much it. Still no word on whether I will be offered the job or not, but it is definitely a stress free environment. If the company pulls through with their expected growth, this may not be a bad time to get on.
Just curious, why are you interviewing at Republic? Aren't you close to upgrading at Commutair?
