I can attest to the lackluster products that China develops in house. Maybe this newest fighter plane will prove me wrong, but it doesn't appear to be off to a good start based upon this article, and the engine technology they are using.

Looks pretty cool, I highly doubt it will ever face down the USAF though, the US and China are too busy making money off each other than to go to war. Unless the Chinese sell it to Iran or North Korea of course...
